No Vapor or Weak Vapor

You're getting little to no vapor from your device, or the vapor production dropped suddenly.

Most Likely Causes

• Coil is burnt or nearly burnt (most common)
• Tank isn't making contact with the mod (loose connection)
• Battery is low or dying
• Airflow is blocked or adjusted too tight
• E-liquid level is too low

How to Fix It

Step 1: Check your e-liquid level. If your tank is less than 1/4 full, refill it. Vaping on an empty coil causes burnt hits and weak vapor.

Step 2: Check your battery level. A dying battery can't fire the coil at full power. Charge your device for at least 30 minutes, then test.

Step 3: Unscrew the tank and reattach it firmly. Loose connections prevent contact. Unscrew completely, inspect the connection pins for dirt or damage, then screw back down firmly.

Step 4: Check your airflow adjustment. Look at the bottom or side of your tank. If the rotating ring is closed, you'll get weak vapor. Open it fully by rotating the ring.

Step 5: Inspect the coil for burn marks. Unscrew the tank from your mod. Look at the coil (the metal piece at the bottom of the tank). If it's brown, black, or looks scorched — your coil is burnt and needs replacing.

Burnt Taste

Your vape tastes burnt, acrid, or unpleasant — like smoking a burnt marshmallow.

Why This Happens

Burnt taste = burnt coil. Your coil is a heating element wrapped in cotton. E-liquid soaks the cotton and evaporates when heated. If the cotton runs out of liquid or the coil gets too old, the cotton burns instead of the e-liquid. That's the acrid taste you're noticing.

Root Causes

• Coil is at end of life. Coils last 1–3 weeks. They degrade over time.
• Vaping on low e-liquid. Tank is nearly empty. Cotton is exposed.
• Chain vaping (high wattage). You're firing the coil too much too fast. Cotton can't absorb liquid fast enough.
• Wrong e-liquid type for your coil. High-VG liquids are thicker; some coils struggle to wick them.
• Coil wasn't primed. New coils need to soak for 5–10 minutes before first use.

Step-by-Step Fix

Step 1: Stop vaping immediately. Burnt hits are harsh on your throat and lungs.

Step 2: Check your e-liquid level. If tank is less than 1/4 full, refill with fresh e-liquid. If the tank is full and you still taste burnt — your coil is dead and needs replacement.

Step 3: Replace the coil. Get a replacement coil that matches your tank model. Unscrew the tank from your mod, unscrew the coil base (bottom of tank) and remove the burnt coil, insert the new coil and screw it in firmly, refill your tank with fresh e-liquid, wait 5–10 minutes for the coil to soak (prime it), reattach tank to mod and test.

Device Won't Fire

You press the fire button and nothing happens. No vapor, no light, no response.

Most Likely Issues

• Battery is dead or not installed correctly
• Device is locked (button pressed 5x accidentally)
• Tank isn't connected properly (no contact)
• Coil is defective or shorts
• Mod has a safety shutoff (too old, overheating, or atomizer issue)

How to Fix It

Step 1: Try to unlock the device. Most mods lock when you press the fire button 5 times. To unlock, press the fire button 5 times again quickly. If the device lights up or you hear a beep, it was locked.

Step 2: Charge the battery. Plug your mod into a charger. Let it charge for 1–2 hours. If the device fires after charging, you needed a battery boost.

Step 3: Unscrew the tank and reinstall it firmly. A loose tank won't make electrical contact. Unscrew completely, inspect both connection points for dirt or damage, then reattach firmly.

Step 4: Check the battery connector (for removable batteries). If your mod uses removable batteries, remove them and inspect. Look for corrosion, loose spring connections, or damaged pins. Clean battery contacts with a dry cloth. Reinsert batteries, making sure the positive (+) end faces the spring.

Step 5: Try without the tank attached. Unscrew your tank and try to fire the mod (point it away from your face). If it fires without the tank but not with it, the issue is your tank or coil — not the mod itself.

Tank Flooding or Leaking

E-liquid is leaking from the tank, dripping from the air vents, or pooling inside your mod.

Why Tanks Leak

• Coil isn't seated properly. Coil is loose or not screwed in fully. Liquid leaks around the coil base.
• O-rings are cracked or missing. O-rings seal the tank. Without them, liquid leaks.
• Tank is overfilled. Filling past the max line causes pressure buildup and leaking.
• Pressure changes (altitude, temperature). Flying or going from cold to hot car causes liquid to expand and leak.
• Tank is tilted or inverted. Leaving your mod on its side or upside down can cause flooding.

How to Fix It

Step 1: Unscrew the tank and look for liquid on the inside walls. If you see liquid pooled at the bottom or running down the sides, the coil or seal is the culprit. Empty any pooled liquid.

Step 2: Inspect the coil. Remove the coil (unscrew the bottom of the tank). Look at the coil's o-rings (small rubber bands around the coil base). If they're cracked, missing, or damaged, the coil needs replacement. Also make sure the coil is getting screwed in fully — hand-tight, not loose.

Step 3: Check for cracks in the glass/plastic tank. Inspect the tank body for tiny cracks or damage. Even hairline fractures can leak. If you spot damage, the tank needs replacement.

Step 4: Refill carefully and don't overfill. Remove the coil, unscrew the top cap, and fill with fresh e-liquid. Stop when liquid reaches the max line (usually marked on the tank). Reinstall the coil and top cap.

Step 5: Close airflow slightly if flooding persists. Adjust the airflow ring (at the bottom of the tank) slightly closed. This reduces pressure and can stop flooding.

Battery Issues

Your battery drains super fast, won't charge, gets uncomfortably hot, or won't hold a charge.

Battery Won't Charge

• Try a different USB cable (your cable might be bad)
• Clean the charging port with a dry cloth (dirt can block connection)
• Let it charge for 2+ hours (some batteries charge slowly)
• Check if the charging light turns on (usually red = charging, green = charged)

If still won't charge: Battery is likely dead. Buy new batteries or a new mod.

Battery Drains Fast

• Lower your wattage. High wattage (100W+) drains battery in 2–3 hours. Lower to 40–60W to extend battery life.
• Replace the coil. A burnt or old coil requires more power, draining battery faster.
• Use a more efficient tank. Some tanks are power-hungry. Switching tanks can improve battery life.
• Battery is old. Rechargeable batteries degrade over time. After 300+ charges, capacity drops significantly.
