The Hemingway is Arturo Fuente's signature cigar — a beautifully tapered Perfecto, closed at both ends and wrapped in a silky African Cameroon leaf over aged Dominican long-filler. It's a smooth, medium-bodied smoke with cedar, warm baking spice, a hint of leather and a nutty sweetness, aged at least six months before it ships. OpusX is the crown jewel — the first cigar ever made as a full Dominican puro, grown and rolled entirely at the family's Château de la Fuente estate with a sun-grown wrapper Carlos Fuente Jr. was told couldn't be grown in the Dominican Republic. Añejo is the one collectors wait for — a limited release that usually lands around the holidays and disappears just as fast. It takes the Hemingway's Perfecto shapes and wraps them in a dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro aged in cognac barrels, for a rich, full-bodied smoke full of chocolate, espresso, dried fruit and pepper.
