H. Upmann is one of the oldest names in cigars, founded in 1844 by a German banker who loved Havana tobacco. The non-Cuban version, made by Altadis in the Dominican Republic, carries that heritage of smooth, classic elegance.
The 1844 Reserve is smooth and medium; the Connecticut-wrapped lines are mellow and refined; and the H. Upmann by AJ Fernández adds Nicaraguan body and spice. Timeless, well-made and a great gift.

Rolled at Tabacalera de García in the Dominican Republic, the 1844 Reserve wraps aged Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos in a silky Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf for a medium-bodied, impeccably balanced smoke. Look for smooth cedar, fresh-ground coffee, toasted almond and a whisper of black pepper over a creamy finish. Refined without being timid — the kind of cigar you can hand to a beginner or an old hand and please them both.
The lightest, creamiest door into the H. Upmann world — a golden Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos for a mild-to-medium smoke that stays smooth from light to nub. Soft cedar, blanched almond, sweet cream and a touch of white pepper make it a perfect morning cigar or a first premium for a new smoker. Easygoing, elegant and endlessly smokeable.
H. Upmann handed the blend to master blender A.J. Fernández, who built it from the ground up at his Nicaraguan factory. The result is the boldest, most flavor-packed H. Upmann in the case — an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over pure Nicaraguan filler from Estélí, Jalapa and Ometepe, smoking medium-to-full with rich cocoa, black pepper, cedar and a sweet, leathery finish. One of the best-value A.J. collaborations out there.
A throwback to classic, old-world flavor — wrapped in genuine African Cameroon leaf, which brings a distinctive tooth and a spicy-sweet character you can't fake. Over Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers it smokes medium-bodied with cedar, roasted coffee, a dusting of red pepper and that signature Cameroon sweetness.
