Can You Bring a Vape Into Disney World?
Short answer: you can carry a vape in, but you can’t use it inside the parks. Here’s exactly where vaping is and isn’t allowed at Disney, Universal and on the way there.
Can you bring a vape into Disney World?
Yes — you can bring a personal vape into Walt Disney World in your bag. Security screening allows disposable vapes and e-cigarettes for personal use. What you can’t do is use it inside. Disney went smoke-free across the theme parks years ago, and that includes vaping.
Where vaping is not allowed at Disney World
Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout basically everywhere a guest spends the day:
- Inside all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom)
- The two water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports
- Disney Springs
- Disney Resort hotels and their grounds
Where you can vape at Disney World
Disney provides designated smoking areas located outside the main entrances of each theme park. If you want to vape, you leave the park, use the designated area, and re-enter with your ticket and hand stamp. There are no smoking or vaping areas inside the parks anymore, so plan on stepping out.
Can you vape at Disneyland (California)?
Same idea. Vaping is not allowed inside Disneyland, Disney California Adventure or Downtown Disney. Designated smoking areas are outside the park entrances and in the Esplanade area between the two parks. Bring it if you like — just use it outside the gates.
Can you vape at Universal Studios Orlando?
Universal Orlando is a little more permissive: it maintains designated smoking areas within the parks and CityWalk where vaping is allowed. Outside those spots, it’s prohibited. Look for the marked areas on the park map or ask a team member where the nearest one is.
Flying to Orlando with a vape
If you’re bringing a device on the plane, two airline rules matter:
- Carry-on only. Vapes and spare lithium batteries must go in your carry-on or on your person — never in checked luggage.
- No using it in the airport or in-flight. Vaping is banned on all U.S. flights and only allowed in an airport’s designated smoking areas, if any.
Forgot yours, or ran out mid-trip?
It happens constantly — people fly in without a device or burn through one faster than expected. iSmokee is about 5 minutes from Disney Springs at 8526 Palm Parkway, with a second store on Highway 192 in Kissimmee, and we’re open until 2:30 AM. We stock the full disposable wall — Lost Mary, RAZ, Geek Bar and more — so you can grab a replacement before or after the parks.
