The Geek Bar Pulse, Explained
The Pulse is the device that made Geek Bar a household name. Here is what its features actually do, minus the marketing.
What the Pulse is
The Geek Bar Pulse is a large-capacity disposable built around three things people wanted: a long-lasting device, a screen that tells you what is going on, and a way to dial the hit up. It is the flagship of the Geek Bar line.
The two power modes
- Regular mode — the everyday setting; longer overall life.
- Pulse mode — a boosted setting that delivers a bigger, warmer hit. It uses e-liquid faster, so it is the "when you want it" mode, not the all-day one.
Being able to switch is the whole appeal — an easy device most of the time, a stronger one on demand.
The screen
The Pulse’s animated display shows battery level and e-liquid remaining, and indicates which mode you are in. It sounds like a gimmick until you have one — knowing when it is about to run out is genuinely useful, especially mid-trip.
Battery and charging
The Pulse is rechargeable over USB-C, which matters on a high-capacity device — the juice usually outlasts a single battery charge, so recharging lets you actually finish it. Don’t leave it charging unattended overnight; our vape battery guide covers safe habits.
Flavors
The Pulse comes in a wide range — fruit blends, menthol/ice, sweet and dessert options. If you are picking blind, decide the family first (fruit vs menthol vs sweet), then narrow down. Our Geek Bar flavors guide sorts the lineup, and the staff can tell you what is moving.
Is it right for you?
Get the Pulse if you want a device that lasts, shows you its levels, and can hit harder when you want. If you want the smallest, simplest thing in your pocket, a Lost Mary may suit you better — compare all three in our head-to-head.
